In 1980 Paul Cronin started using video to help his international coaching clients. Shooting video of Olympic sailors, professional sailors, club and junior sailors helped him develop his skills in a very challenging environment.
"My coaching clients would tell me, 'You should sell your video it’s great.' So in 2002 I began producing short DVD’s for different clients." In 2005 Paul committed to shooting video as a specialty.
"My friend Onne van der Wal (one of the world's best marine still photographers) gave me a great piece of advice. “If you go for it, go all the way like you do with everything else in your life. So it must be HD, and you must stay at the leading edge.”
Even as video technology has developed at a mind-boggling speed, Paul has committed to remaining on the leading edge with his equipment and knowledge.
After twenty-four years of shooting video, he's added broadcast HD video to his offerings. His clients include the marine industry, production houses, marketing agencies, helicopter companies, TV stations, and any business that demands the best in HD production.
Most importantly, Paul brings a fun positive approach to all of his work. “Work and play should be the same thing. I love what I do, and you will too.”
